Beeping Why does my Sigma lens make a high-pitched ringing noise helpon my Canon camera?

I have acquired a canon eos t3i 600dCanon EOS T3i 600D. When iI use a canon branded lense 18Canon-branded lens (18-55mm), the camera works well. When iI change lense to sigmathe Sigma macro 18-250mm and turn the camera on, I can hear a ringing noise. Like, like ringing of the ear type noise. Any suggestions or reasons forWhat's causing this anyone?
