Alan Gilbertson is a freelance creative director, designer and writer living on the Florida Sun Coast near Tampa Bay. His first love is book design, closely followed by creative workflow efficiency, with which he is mildly obsessed.

He is an Adobe Community Expert who co-chairs the LA InDesign User Group (the only InDesign user group outside of Europe) and writes for CreativePro.com and CreativePro Magazine.
