Is there any way to display current date ad time in Sony A6000 apart from going into menu trying to set it? I find this feature very useful and it was very easy on my Canon dslr, but can't find this option in my A6000.

Yes. You can check the photo review screens. At least one of them should display the date when the picture was taken. If it is not there, go into menu options and edit your photo-review screens.

It can't be done.You can view time from exif.
