Would need someone to help me with the below: Yesterday when I was clicking pictures I changed some settings and now when I click pictures they are like I have switched blue lights, but I haven't. Also without flash the picture is all black. Seems the camera is compelling me to keep the flash on all the time. Can someone please help to restore my settings.

What camera/lens? What exposure mode? What metering mode? What ISO, Tv, and Av? What shooting conditions (indoors under what type of lighting, outdoors at midday, at dawn or dusk, etc.)? – Michael C Nov 28 '17 at 10:40
  • If you can provide sample images that would help too, as it is stated now, there really isn't enough information to tell what you are asking. – AJ Henderson Nov 28 '17 at 15:33

"Switching blue lights" sounds for me as if you have wrong white balance. Find this option in your setting and set it to "Auto".

Black picture without flash might be wrong exposure values. Without knowing your camera model it is difficult exactly to explain how to change them. Anyway, try to set the camera to automatic mode.

Since we don't know what settings you had before yesterday, we cannot help you to restore them. But you can always reset your setting to the initial. Find in the camera menu "Factory reset" and after you perfom it, your camera will have setting as if you just bought it.

  • Will try the "factory reset" option. thanks for the help here. – pallavi sisodia Nov 28 '17 at 10:45
