What programs do you use that allows you to add a batch of photos, tag each photo with multiple keywords and then search by keywords?

For example you have a set of photos from an event, you can filter the ones tagged outside, inside or with a specific id as a competition number etc.

There are countless services that host your photos and allow you tag them, and then later subsequently search or filter by tags. Have you tried any of them, perhaps the usual suspects (Flickr, SmugMug, etc.)? If so, what have you found lacking? What research have you done? – scottbb May 8 '17 at 14:56
  • You can definitely do this with Flickr. – Robin May 8 '17 at 18:27

This is called Digital Asset Management (DAM). This type of approach is standard with DAM software. Widely used packages include Adobe Lightroom (which I use), Phase One Capture One, Adobe Bridge (which comes with Photoshop), Apple Photos and Picasa.
