Furthermore, if the phone did have a variable aperture that could stop down to ƒ/22 and if that were the cause of the diagonal streaks, that would imply the aperture is a single slit (or perhaps very long "cat's eye" opening that can be approximated as a single slit) oriented perpendicular to the streaks. That is, it would be a 2-bladed aperture. I don't think any mobile phone, point-and-shoot, or consumer ILC lens exists with a 2-bladed aperture. | |
