edited to match what is unique about this question since focus is less on the math and more on the difference in lens usage.

Bridge to DSLR migration, zoom equivalent How do I choose a lens for my first DSLR to replicate the capabilities of my bridge camera?

I am planning to migrate from my Sony DSC-HX1 bridge camera (28-560mm) to Canon EOS 800D.

Now I had learned that 'x' based zoom values are not applicable to DSLR's and I am lost with all the mathematical calculations, so my questions areis:

A). Which canon lens should I opt to get 30x zoom capabilities on EOS 800D? (30x in terms of my earlier camera)

B). Will this zoomWhat lens will provide me all capabilities of my earlier bridge camera like shooting Macro, landscape, portraits, zoom range etc. effectively?
