Jul 16, 2017 at 4:06 comment added AJ Henderson This doesn't sound right. A JPEG has had the raw photosite data combined and you can't just separate it back out. If that was possible, there would be no reason to need to shoot in RAW. You might be able to make a completely arbitrary RAW file that could have certain settings applied to produce the JPEG I guess, but it would be a total mess. There is also no reason that EXIF data couldn't be in the JPEG just like in the RAW file.
