Some theaters have very bright lights on the dancers which would not be considered low light at all. Other theaters are quite dim. If you are fortunate enough to attend a rehearsal that has the same lighting, that would allow you to practice. | |

And I forgot to mention in the question that I'd like to do this without using flash. This camera is new to me. It sounds like you think that, combined with a tripod, will be sufficient. So, you don't think I need to use the Tv mode to specify a shutter speed or adjust the ISO? | |
