Oct 1, 2014 at 14:02 comment added connersz I understand how cameras focus and how they achieve it, but usually there is air between the camera and it's subject unlike in an underwater environment. Water provides magnification through refraction, a bit like a camera does too. But I am specifically asking how it achieves it's focus within the water and what effect the water has on the depth of field.
