Either you are professional about it or you should not be asking for money. If you're offered something in exchange for your time then just hash it out on the spot, if you're seriously moving from amateur to professional then now is the time to start working on a price list and that question is already covered on this site. | |

If you are an amateur I'm assuming you don't have liability insurance, equipment protection, equipment backups, professional association affiliations, pay the proper taxes on your earnings, collect taxes, contract(s), or business plan. Advanced amateur's are just that, doing it for the fun and passion, not as a business! | |
