I just looked at the Canon EOS 6D specs with some hope that it supports more than 3 frames for auto exposure bracketing. But it does not:

±3 (3 frames at 1/3 EV, 1/2 EV steps)

So, I think the cheapest Canon body supporting more than three frames is still the 5D Mark III, one of the most expensive cameras out there:

±3 (2, 3, 5, 7 frames at 1/3 EV, 1/2 EV steps)

ButMost digital cameras support only 3-frame AEB, why is this? I think AEB is a very important feature these days since there are many HDR hobby-photographers out there. So, I wonder if they really all buy this expensive camera. Is it a technical limitation? I think it's just a software feature, isn't it?
