That's one reason why PM is a popular package for users of NX tools. Also consider that it's VERY easy to specify a default raw conversion profile while importing in Lightroom rendering the whole issue moot. | |
Jul 6, 2012 at 12:10 | comment | added | user2719 | Just one thing to add: the setting will usually affect the embedded thumbnail in the NEF file, so it can have an effect on your library view in, say, Lightroom, where you're likely to do your major triage. If the setting is consistent across the board, no problem, but if you change settings within a shoot, it can adversely affect your candidate choices. | |
