Feb 19, 2018 at 10:58 comment added Mike Sowsun No, that’s incorrect. The EF 50mm 1.4 USM is the ONLY Micro USM lens to have FTM. All other Micro USM lenses have rotating front elements, no focus distance scale, a Focus ring that spins during AF, and no FTM. In my opinion they should all be avoided.

Can you provide an example of a Canon lens that includes a micro-USM motor that does not have full time manual focus? I've not come across one that doesn't. The EF 50mm f/1.4 has a micro-USM motor and certainly has full time manual focus.
