The goal there is to preserve that most valuable information in case the linked article goes off line for any reason, which would thereby make the answer you have provided pretty useless. This is not a PhotoSE thing, its a StackExchange thing. @rfusca was quite cordial in his initial request, and is simply following the overarching rules of StackExchange. | |
