Bit late on this one.

I think it the ball bearing has come out of position on the optical stabaliser (soulds similar to an issue i had).

To get to it you need to strip down the lens to its bones to re-seat.

Tried to do it myself but broke a ribon cable inside and ....well its stuffed, but the image doesnt jump any more.
