comment Lighting needed for 2-D Stop-Motion Video
A VERY important point it to use lighting which has a wide gamut output. Some lamps (eg cheap ccfl) have a very odd output and are missing a lot of wavelength - It may not be obvious to the eye, but the shots can look very flat. I learned this while trying to photograph oil and watercolour paintings to print for a customer.

comment Why do phase-detection focusing sensors not like linearly polarized light?
You have mentioned contrast reduction, but phase detection doesnt rely on contrast, does it?

What do you mean by a "Mobile sensor"? Do you mean one in a mobile phone?

comment Recognize dry areas by separating diffuse and specular reflections
Yes i'd agree its about obtaining an image, not the processing of, So i'd say it's on topic - although not "arty" enough for some possibly

comment Is there a correct way to swap lenses?
That's fine as long as your pocket VERY clean, and isnt full of lint and bits of string... Otherwise you'll be slowly filling your lens (and camera) with dust.

comment RGB colour correction of CCD camera images
Is this a crop from a larger image? - this appears to be chromatic aberration yes, if this is not from the center of the image but the top/bottom/side then this is the cause.

comment Should I switch from D300s to D700?
save up and buy a new camera - the D700 is 6 years old now, and misses many features seen on new cameras.

comment Why doesn't my fisheye adapter gives fisheye distortion on my APS-C DSLR?
You don't need an adapter to try it on the 35mm, just hold it over the lens and try it!

comment Does a larger sensor resolution increase the difficulty of shooting hand-held?
@clabacchio - yes you are right, sorry I was suffering with flu yesterday, my head felt like it was on backwards :-)

comment How to best prepare, print, and display night photos?
Its not a complete answer so I wont submit one: Paper is VERY important for dark images. I have found that glossy / lustre media is best for giving really deep blacks (you want black to be BLACK don't you!) and quality matters - I have seen various cheap photo papers that produce a sort of slightly milky haze where ink is very heavy.

comment Canon 5D Mk II shoots only 2.1 FPS burst instead of 3.9 claimed, why?
Do you have Noise Reduction turned on? this WILL lower your frame rate.

comment 2 lenses came with my Nikon D3200, but no adapter. What do I need to buy to use these lenses?
We need more information on the exact make and models of these lenses to be able to help you, they may not be of any use at all.

comment Can I tether a Firewire only camera to a USB only computer?
@Olli - I just bought one on ebay! They certainly exist... I would do that, BUT my laptop doesnt have a PCMCIA / Cardbus slot either (nice machine though, Dell XPS 14z)

comment how do I get a black background on a portrait in post?
I'm sorry to say that this would be pretty much 100% impossible without it looking hilarious. the main problem (as always) is the hair.
