Did it work ok before? and can it autofocus below 0.9m?

comment Can I desaturate incoming light using a filter or series of filters mounted to the lens?
Surely a "double exposure" would require post work though?

comment How can I avoid a strange lens flare at bright lights when using UV filter?
Its far easier to clean a lens than an image...

comment Quilted/Tiled Image Sensor: How do you eliminate stripes of missing photos in huge quilted sensors?
If you move on to the "Data Handling" page in the above link, it states: "The images from the four cameras are then compared with each other to remove spurious effects such as cosmic rays, gaps between CCD cells, and bad pixels, and a composite image is calculated based on the four subimages and corrected for measured variations in atmospheric seeing."

comment Why does the screen go black when I make the shutter speed faster?
@Rafael - I think he's saying the photo is (a bit) better with flash, meaning there is more light, but it wont help (much) outdoors. Hard to tell though...

comment Why am I getting a different look with Huey Pro on a LED monitor?
I only just came across this, very interesting, as my Huey worked perfectly well on my CCFL (Viewsonic) LCD monotors, but made my laptop (LED LCD) look terrible.

comment Does the Sony wireless remote commander (hardware, not the app) focus before firing a shot in Manual?
Had you set the camera to manual EXPOSURE or manual FOCUS?

comment How close are we to the sensor pixel size limit?
As worded, only physical pixel size is relevant to the question.

comment How close are we to the sensor pixel size limit?
@SailorCire - the OP is talking about physical pixel size, not the number of them...

comment Taking care of first DSLR
No they are built to be used, they are designed to always have a lens mounted. If you are treating it badly enough to damage the lens mount in transit you really should stop throwing it at walls!

How many frames do you need to correct? (ish)

Can you see the camera in "My Computer"?, have you tried a different cable?

comment Is it true that all current browsers and OSes are “color managed” now?
Even if colour management is used, the users' screen still needs to be profiled physically to guarantee being anywhere near correct.

comment Lighting needed for 2-D Stop-Motion Video
A VERY important point it to use lighting which has a wide gamut output. Some lamps (eg cheap ccfl) have a very odd output and are missing a lot of wavelength - It may not be obvious to the eye, but the shots can look very flat. I learned this while trying to photograph oil and watercolour paintings to print for a customer.
