comment Can I manual adjust focus after half shutter press?
I think the best safety advice is "if it doesnt want to turn, dont force it to"

comment What options or solutions exist for photographers who have to use glasses?
I'm short sighted - so wear the opposite of reading glasses (as per stan rogers). The dioptre adjustment works for me although im only a -2 prescription (which is relatively weak) and i have to have it all the way - side. so i dont think anyone who with a strong prescription would get away with it. Of course the available amount of adjustment is camera dependent, but i have found this to be the case on all of my Nikons.

I will add that this cant be done on Nikon AF lenses (the ones driven from the camera's internal AF motor (Im aware this was a Canon specific question)

@CLockeWork - its highly unlikely you'll find a ready-made IR filter for your phone tbh...

@MichaelNielsen - yes it would, use blu-tak.

not really - the only method i can think of is to find some sort of extra IR filter and put it over you lens. You could possibly get one off a dead camera sensor.

comment Are older Hasselblad H series cameras worth investing in?
yes as i remembered - the advance winder and locking clips only work in the one orientation.

comment Are older Hasselblad H series cameras worth investing in?
Actually Im fairly sure they dont, its 6x6 on the v, and 645 landscape on the H. on the H digital its a smaller frame which puts me off the H3D (which i was offered recently at a VERY good price)

Thanks Brad (i have actually owned a 500EL briefly, probably should have mentioned that) Question regarding your last comment - I'm not sure what you mean, as the V backs only mount on one orientation, and its a square frame anyway, so makes no difference??!!

comment How do I attach the Gorillapod to provide the best stabilization in different stituations?
I think this is a case of "if you cant figure it out, you shouldnt be using one"

comment How can I capture blurry movement and freeze a subject in the same photograph?
I quite like it as-is to be honest, its a bit different. Im not convinced its done on purpose to fool people.
