comment Is Pixeluvo a good Photoshop alternative?
@JosephRogers Yes, I tried GIMP, but Pixeluvo has features that GIMP doesn't (e.g. adjustment layers). As for trial, I tried it but it doesn't allow to save high resolution images. In general I wanted to know if there are any obvious thins that are absent in Pixeluvo.

comment Why is there the illusion of detail in photographic noise?
@The_traveler, you are right in case when detail scale is less than noise scale (or in case of low signal/noise ratio), but usually lens give less resolution than resolution of the sensor.

comment Why is there the illusion of detail in photographic noise?
@mattdm Yes, I exactly mean that signal/noise ratio is too low to contain an actual detail. But when I see image with noise, it looks much better, than without it.

comment How do I choose a teleconverter for my Tamron 70-200 f2.8 and Canon camera?
@MichaelClark There is no any special problem, except that I want to be able to get a shot from a longer distance (e.g. wild creatures) and I do not want to buy longer lens. So teleconverter seems to be an alternative.
