When and why should I consider buying a speedlight/external flash? Thank you for detailed answers everyone. Though I have marked only one answer as final answer, all of the answers here have helped me. I finally bought YongNuo 468 II ETTL flash. And I am already happy with the decision of buying a TTL flash as it really comes handy at 'quick photos' times. |

How to remember to change settings when I pick up my camera? "Shell" reminds me of one more thing most people forget to check, the memory card. |

When and why should I consider buying a speedlight/external flash? Oh I had to look it up again, but thanks for reminding about focus assist. That is something I really miss in my camera. |

When and why should I consider buying a speedlight/external flash? Good points. Especially the radio triggers one, when combined with Matt Grum's examples above. |

When and why should I consider buying a speedlight/external flash? Thank you for the detailed answer. I looked up Lumopro LP160 but seems like it is discontinued. Amazon keeps showing me YN-560II. Anyway I would be glad know more details about preferring a full manual flash over an ETTL one. |

Which lens is better: Canon 70-300mm 4-5.6 or 50-200mm? Removed the goddamn apostrophe (it's vs its) |

How can I work out how far away I need to be from the set to get it all in frame? If it wasn't for your restriction of taking it all in one shot, I would have recommended multiple shots to be stitched together to avoid usual distortion caused by wide angles. |
