Nikon D5100 M Mode (Manual) settings reset for every shot whilst the camera pointing to the same object Yep, resetting to the factory settings did the trick. I still wasn't able to find the exposure safety shift, but I think quite simply because it's just not there :) Thanks! |

Nikon D5100 M Mode (Manual) settings reset for every shot whilst the camera pointing to the same object Thanks! I hesitated to reset it to the factory settings at first for some reason, but then decided to do it anyway and it worked! The settings stay the same for the 2nd, 3rd...etc, pics. Ta muchly! |

Nikon D5100 M Mode (Manual) settings reset for every shot whilst the camera pointing to the same object No, i very rarely use the flash and therefore it's closed down pretty much all the time. Also the 1/250 it was just an example, it's different every time. Just tried now: 1st picture exposure 0 EV, F5.6, shutter speed 1/1.6". Took the picture and settings changed to + 2 EV, shutter speed 1/25". Where is the exposure safety shift? Just gone through the whole menu, but couldn't find it... |
