Is the lack of AF Motor on the Nikon D5100 an important factor? I already moved over to Canon 550D long back but I am interested in knowing if you recommend D3200 over D5100 ? |

Is the lack of AF Motor on the Nikon D5100 an important factor? @matt: I think this warrants a big answer from an expert like you :-) I am not sure about EF mount lenses( i am researching this now). I did know the AF,AF-S lenses and that the cameras with AF-motor can have more and cheaper lenses. I am not sure why everyone here is opposing my understanding(obviously I have missed something :-). If you do a comparison of Nikon d5100 with Canon 550D on snapsort . com the first advantage of canon 550D is built in focus motor. Please help. |

How do I photograph small fish in a fish tank? @drew: It is ok mate. Most Bettas live only for two years. Considering that he was with you for 1.5 years is good. It was a real nice fish. |

How do I choose between an SLR or an expensive P&S? Thanks Matt. By now you might have figured out that I am entry level by all standards. I notice that Mirror less cameras are less expensive that regular DSLR's. Why is it so, what flexibility will it take away ? Also I notice that I am actually asking for a lot of things from my Camera( Indoor, FPS, Zoom ) etc so a compromise has to happen at some stage. Also by now, I am already thinking about SLR but somehow FPS seems important, also I feel the "pray and spray" works while clicking a 1 year old. Your thoughts ? |
