I am a dedicated Christian who loves Macs. I've been homeschooled all my life and currently trying to finish up my junior year of high school. I enjoy just about anything that has to do with computers. I AppleScript and shell script a little bit.
I am currently a LAMP programmer with Inventaweb.net.
I have also been editing video for almost 8 years (yes, since I was 9). I started with iMovie HD and have since then worked my way up to Final Cut Pro 9 and Final Cut Studio. I co-founded a film company called OffBlock Films. We do work in the Central Valley and have a vision of producing a feature length film at an unknown point in the future.
You can find me on my sometimes updated blog: The Geek Tech Blog, on Twitter and on App.net.

What are the risks of using Magic Lantern? Update #2: I have now used Magic Lantern on two 550Ds, a 500D, and a 60D. My conclusion is that it's quite safe and I don't need to worry about bricking a camera. I would warn that you need to read all the warning labels and what to do if you think the camera is potentially bricked. I've frozen a camera, but no bricking. |

What are the risks of using Magic Lantern? Update: I have now used Magic Lanter on both our T2i and a borrowed T1i with no problems at all. I am also planning on using it on a 60D, so I'll report back with news on that at some point. |

How do I find the thread diameter of my lens? It was from the same site, I'm pretty sure...anyhow, I appreciate your help, even though it was just pointing me in the right direction. :-) |

How do I find the thread diameter of my lens? Ah. I guess I wasn't paying attention to filter size. I was looking for thread something or the other. I'm still somewhat new to the DSLR world, so thanks for that helpful info!! |

What are the risks of using Magic Lantern? @dpollitt I understand your point, but I think this can be answered in an objective way by someone with experience who can give a good explanation. I'm not asking for a discussion. |

What are the risks of using Magic Lantern? Basically I do want to know the risks, but more along the lines of "What can it potentially do to the camera?" and if something does happen, is it reversible? |

What are the risks of using Magic Lantern? @dpollitt Okay, understood. I don't know much about CHDK, but IMO, it isn't a duplicate, since it isn't the same. |
