Canon t1i DSLR LCD screen discoloration How much do you think it usually take to replace a LCD screen on Canon T1i camera? you have list of vendors? or is it has to be canon? |

Canon t1i DSLR LCD screen discoloration It look like a blotches of color, like one part of screen is red, and other part is green and blue, it's messed up looking. Usually the LCD shows the settings for camera in preset color (like white, green, one single color). |

Canon t1i DSLR LCD screen discoloration Thanks. Reset the settings doesn't work. The camera still works taking photos. When viewing settings or doing preview of photo on LCD, it shows the weird color. Not sure why it all the sudden just fail like that. |

How do I get the best results with a cell phone camera? want to get better result for cellphone shot. Find a cell phone that actually use good sensor. Don't use an iPhone! Don't use an iphone app that would "make your shot better" by applying crazy effect, it just seem fake. |

Best image quality non-prime walk around lens for travelling with a Canon crop dSLR? Sorry, I thought you meant focus quickness. 15-85 is not fast for aperture, but does ok in good lightning condition. |

Best image quality non-prime walk around lens for travelling with a Canon crop dSLR? 15-85mm is very fast. I disagreed with the poster that it's not fast. It's fast and quiet. Takes not even a second to focus. |

Best image quality non-prime walk around lens for travelling with a Canon crop dSLR? +1 for 15-85MM. I had the same lens, the only lens I have to travel with. Advantage: 1. wide angel in 15, and can zoom in up to 85 which give you a big range; 2. awesome image quality. 3 superfast and quiet. |

What are the must-have filters for a new photographer? what's your experience of putting a circular polarizor on top of the clear filter? |

Is there a comfortable, secure, light, and cheap sling shoulder strap system? I ended up buying a RS-7. I haven't take it out on a field trip yet, but seems expensive for such little device, but it looks very sturdy that I trust my camera hanging off the belt. |

How can I organise photos on a network storage device, and what software can help me? Regarding the slowness in indexing your image that is stored in the NAS: if you're connecting to your NAS wirelessly (by WiFi), consider plugin to the router with ethernet cable, that will significantly increase the network performance when accessing NAS files; 2. If you're using the older Wireles G standard router, consider upgrade your router to wireless N standard. I used to have the same slowness when indexing files. I just connect my laptop (with a ethernet cable) to the router, instead of using WiFi connection. That boost the speed up to 10 times. try it. |
