What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? That's beautiful quote, you posted. Thanks. |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? I realize I had asked a specific question on a subjective matter, but thanks for your description. |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? @forsvarir "you’re asking for specific guidance for subjective subjects." Alright, I understand. A better question would have been "how to achieve x composition in this picture". Thanks. I used to think that aggressive means kind of "attempting to start a fight"! |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? @jrista "I've examined many of your comments on 500px, and between there and here, to be blunt, you have a rather abrasive, aggressive and interrogatory approach to your search for "ideas"." Also, I think that you could have asked for my mail address for discussing behaviour patterns. To me it seems that this is a topic which should be discussed on the mails rather on the public threads. |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? @jrista "You have to develop that on your own," That's true for sure, but then why are people advised to read on the "Photographers's eye" kind of books? Isn't this all about sharing experiences on specific topics? |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? @jrista Well, yes, I remember I shouldn't have "demanded" the answer from mattdm in the previous thread. This is a voluntary forum of course. |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? @jrista "Rockwell is a raging buffoon, puffed up on his own presumed excellence, completely devoid of artistic talent," And that is your very personal opinion and my opinion is different regarding him. I haven't taken his blog as a "rule". His blog has just given me a new way to think and persive a scene. |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? @jrista "you have a rather abrasive, aggressive and interrogatory approach" And you don't think that instead of issuing a statement and moving on, it'll be better if you tell me what do you call "aggressive" and how to frame it in a "polite" way? Cultural difference - I can't really make out what do English men find rude. I haven't called anyone names there. I try to use the word please often! |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? @jrista "That is clearly obvious in the way your questions are worded" My aim is to make the questions look "specific" (as required), and I can't do anything if that looks like asking for "rules". Not a native English speaker am I. |

What can be identified as a subject in a landscape photograph comprising of things which are equally important? @jrista No, not looking for any kind of "rules". Looking for "ideas" which come from experience and "trying" to ask "specific" questions. When Ken Rockwell talks about looking for lines and shapes, would you call that a "rule" or simply sharing experience? |

What does it mean for a photograph to be “high key”? I wish you would have posted the example photo which could have been viewable in "office" too. Thankfully no one was looking at me when I scrolled down! |
