How does connecting the camera to a laptop help in photography? I do not know but I'd be surprised if there isn't. The keywords which you could use to search would be Canon, tethering, timelapse, focus control, application. |

Do vibration-resistant lenses need tripods for ultra-sharp landscapes? I'm with rfusca on that. Use a calculator to find out a hyperfocal length ( dofmaster.com/dofjs.html for example ) and keep at F11 or below. |

Is it better to transfer photos by removing the memory card or by directly using a data cable? I forgot the card in the laptop as well. The easy thing to do to avoid this is to leave the card door open on the camera so when you take it, this will remind you about the missing card. |

Does an NDX400-equivalent exist for a 95mm filter thread? I must check out the thread type and diameter, maybe there even are adapters so I could pluck a larger filter? |

Is ND400 insufficient for some sun moments? I do have the RAW file (12bit, compressed, that's how D5000 does it :(( ) but the crop is real pixels. At 300mm 500px width is all I could get. I am seriously considering at least a teleconverter if I can't afford a 500mm or more .. |
