How could I photograph a page with minimal distance to the camera? What are you looking for? if you clarify your goal, what you are wondering about / what you want to test, it could be easier to find out an answer or possibly to figure a different approach to solve your doubts. That is: I understand your question but I am a bit puzzled as to what you are really wondering about. |

Software to find sharpest image in sequence? Well the algorithm will try to identify the sharpest areas: motion blurred images will have few of those if any but being automatic it could give some answer all the same. Granted, it could be not enough. .. |

How to learn to shoot with the “other” eye? Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it again and I followed up to the right eye. I have also consciously steered the hand to go to the left eye and it "exits" from the hand. I wonder if my difficulties come from a worsening in my sight (eg more astygmatic as I get older). |

How to learn to shoot with the “other” eye? I'm not a native speaker, what do you mean with having a "head start if ...."? do you mean that since I am already using my "not dominant" eye I should be able to "learn" quickly? I am already able to shoot with both eyes open, but with a dslr is less useful since the pentaprism/viewfinder is central and so the camera occludes, partially, the view. |

Why did “pure” photography displace pictoralism so completely? Thank you Stan, I learned a lot from this answer. |

How do you shoot lighting designs in a studio? i wonder if the lightning design company doesn't already have some fixture to set up their products. I think that they have to display them somehow and so probably have already faced some similar issue.... |
