my 8x10" prints are almost exactly 2mm smaller on both the short and the long side which is the maximum tolerance based on the link you provided. However I did some reading and it seems that most 8x10" frames and mats have an overlap from 1/4 - 1/2 inch so I should be good.

comment Best approach for accurate & fast focusing of fully manual lenses without live view. Focus chip, focusing screen or another approach?
I have since reconsidered the "without Live-Wiew" part and installed magic lantern on my backup body. I decided that the ML options are quite fantastic especially the half press button 10x magnification, picture in picture with 10x magnification, focus confirm and focus peaking. Amazing. No need for chips or focusing screens anymore.

Always shoot burst at weddings so you can replace swap out faces and expressions. Badly blurred image can only be sharpen in fictional TV shows (someone mentioned CSI).

Thanks! Exactly the kind of feedback i was hoping for. I guess i just don't understand how does the Eg-s work? How does it achieve accurate focus? Sorry, only started considering this as an option yesterday. When using the standard focusing screen for example,I feel that without magnifying the image, there is just no way to focus accurately. How does one work with the Eg-s?

comment How do I align bracketed exposure panoramas in photoshop?
Also helps to apply lens profile to the HDR's before doing photomerge especially vignetting and geometry. Some photomerge options allow to correct vignetting but you may get e better transition with the actual profile applied.
