Moving Lightroom catalog from PC to Macbook using Google Drive Well they are in different physical locations, though I understadn your point it should be twice as fast. Speed isn't that important to me though - I'll do the transfer at night and/or over a weekend. |

Why are some of my photos coming out almost completely purple? As an artifact it almost looks like a dithered image with excessive saturation of a badly exposed scene. Definitely more than just a little "off" |

Why are some of my photos coming out almost completely purple? I agree with Russel, you'll need to provide some more information about the purle image and the window scene. I assume the purple part is a 100% crop of a specific purple area on the wall looking through the window? Also could you mention what type of camera is this from? and also is the output image RAW or jpeg? |

Is compositing a viable technique for high key portrait type shots? I guess by "viable" I mean is it a technique that could be used by a keen amateur (not pro) to cost and space efficiently achieve a convincing high key portrait image. And by "convincing" I mean difficult to tell whether it was generated by a real dedicated background and multiple strobes / speedlites. |

Is compositing a viable technique for high key portrait type shots? Many thanks for such a detailed response! Your comparison between post shoot lighting and general portrait painting was very interesting. That said with regard to the initial task of removing the modelling light, i think localised image equalisation / normalisation could achieve that? |

Is there a script which will detect camera-shake blur? This is very true - though its unclear exactly how the camera shake / blur mask is "defined". I'd refer the original poster to search for information/plugins on deconvolution such as the Lucy Richardson approach IF they want to try remove camera shake. However the original poster seems to want to just detect it and classify the blur? |
