comment How should I respond to a lowball offer for commercial use of one of my photographs?
I think you already know the answer. Nobody's going to say: You're obliged to accept their second offer; refusing to let a buyer determine the selling price is highly improper.

comment How can I get photographs which look like 3D renderings?
Usually people want the opposite: 3D renderings that look like photographs.

comment Image in focus at the back (LCD) but not when shown in computer
I was responding to your "Never rely on your LCD..." My point is that there are plenty of times when you can judge from the LCD that an image is worthy of deletion. I know what you're trying to say and I don't disagree, but the way you've phrased it is easily misunderstood.

How can you tell the difference between a "preset" and manual adjustment?

comment When might you use multi flash on a speedlight?
Isn't that like saying Apart from the situations where the feature is useful, it's not a useful feature?

comment Which alloys are used in the Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L?
A much greater concern than the metals would be the effects of those temperatures on the lubricants, plastic parts, and electronics.

On the contrary -- if an image is out of focus on the LCD, it's going to be out of focus on a larger monitor. On the other hand, you can (on most models) magnify on the LCD to check focus, and it's not uncommon to use Live View plus heavy magnification to ensure that an image will be in focus.

I googled fine art, and by my count the percentage of color images was closer to 20%.

comment What is a “crisp” photo?
That's funny, @PhilipKendall. I also found quite a few photography businesses that use "crisp" in their name, so it's a word that seems to resonate with photographers, or at least with clients.

flawlessly might be too strong. It seems flawless because the brain also gets to tell the story.

comment How many “MegaPixels” can the human eye see?
Which part of the eye? The density of photoreceptors across the retina varies.

comment Easy DIY photo paper?
@Jahaziel Edited to make the link less important. I don't think it makes sense to repeat the directions here -- the recipe isn't really the point of this answer so much as the idea that you can use blueprint paper to record an image.

De-emphasize the link.
