I am a French developer / photographer living in Tokyo. I enjoy traveling, urban exploration, haikyo, and telling stories.
I used to be addicted to C#, .NET, was crazily in love with LINQ, often using ExtJS and jQuery on the client side. Now I am slowly trying to find my way to some dynamic way of making real-time web applications using HTML5, noSQL, Nodes.js and new innovative libraries and frameworks.

Will converting images to DNG improve post-processing performance in Lightroom? I think that my issue is the sluggishness of the hard drive in the Mac Book Pro... so I'm not sure embedding the RAW files inside a DNG is going to help much :p |

Will converting images to DNG improve post-processing performance in Lightroom? Also, I don't really care about the extra-cost while generating the DNG and the previews. I just care about "normal" usage. If the image are half size of the RAW, I guess it will be much faster to load too... |

Will converting images to DNG improve post-processing performance in Lightroom? I use a canon 7d. Do I have a special sensor? Will I lost something important if I convert everything into DNG? |
