I'm an enthusiastic amateur or a semi-pro photographer, depending on mood and day of the week. :)

Can I save the JPEG preview image that's generated in-camera when I shoot in RAW-only mode? Nice to know about I suppose, but dcraw -e wins every time on simplicity. |

Can I save the JPEG preview image that's generated in-camera when I shoot in RAW-only mode? That's a brilliant answer - thanks! I just downloaded dcraw and it worked exactly as you said. (It took me a few minutes to find a 64-bit Windows version but it's here). |

What causes this sort of RAW file corruption? @MikeW There's no 'probably' about it - that's exactly what it is. |

What are neutral density filters and how do I use them to create long exposures in daylight? Yep, must be a bug. I accepted my answer on 31 August 2011. :) |

What are neutral density filters and how do I use them to create long exposures in daylight? No, I never accepted your answer in the first place. See my comment on the question: I always intended to answer this myself and I accepted my own answer as soon as I could. Don't know what's given you that impression. |

How can I invert part of a photo? Agreed, and it keeps getting better. Thanks for the upvote! |

In Connecticut, do employees have rights to photographs of themselves? I have updated the title though to reflect the specific nature of the question. Otherwise I think plenty of other users will (as I did) click through on the title only to bail out after 3 words of the question. |

In Connecticut, do employees have rights to photographs of themselves? I take it all back. :) |

In Connecticut, do employees have rights to photographs of themselves? "In Connecticut specifically" seems a bit too localised for me: the question's going to be irrelevant to the majority of visitors to the site. |

What is the best way to photograph oil paintings with a film camera? I agree with the possible duplicate, but I'm not voting to close as this question is much better written than the previous one. I also agree the film angle makes it a slightly different question. |

How does Photoshop/Lightroom process exposure? I've read this twice and I'm still finding it quite a confusing question. Could you reword to strip out some of the more discursive parts and focus clearly on your core question? |

Which photoshop book? It would help if you could expand the question to tell us what you want to get out of it. Different books suit different people's needs. |

Broken Canon 28 -135 mm lens Hi there and welcome to photo.SE! You're unlikely to get helpful answers to this question as it stands for a couple of reasons: you're really asking 3 questions in one; you're not telling us everything we need to know (For example, what's your budget for the repair? What do you want to do with a replacement lens? etc.); and lastly, you're repeating questions that have already been asked. I recommend you follow @mattdm's link for the EF-S question then come back and edit this to make it easier to answer. |

What program can automatically resize & crop a folder of images to a certain resolution? I was very hopeful XnConvert might do what you're after but like IrfanView it won't do a centred crop on arbitrary image sizes. |

How large an image do I need to print a 32″ by 18″ poster at 300 DPI? Great answer. I've never had a print job for which a high-quality JPEG wasn't perfectly adequate. |
