What is push/pull processing? the more i learn about this stuff, the more i value the analog work people produced, and the crazy steps it involved, when nowadays we can just mindlessly push sliders around in the computer. amazing stuff! |

Which is “the most memorable, mind-changing photograph of all time” that Galen Rowell talks about? this reminds me of "f8 and be there". also, hasselblad + zeiss lenses (hq.nasa.gov/alsj/a11/a11-hass.html). recently they've changed to adapted pro nikon gear. |

Defish GoPro images consistently You can try photographing some building or box (something with straight edges) and defish until edges look right. you can then use the same ammount of "defishing" for all photos, even make a lightroom preset for it. |

Is 1mm acrylic (plexi) a good choice for photo framing glass? i recently bought some picture frames from ikea (the cheapest ones) and they come with sort-of 1mm acrylic front. It comes protected on both sides by a peelable translucent film. It is very similar to glass on ordinary reflecting conditions, and hanging on the wall, i imagine it's not going to get too much scratches. |

What is a Carbon Print? I see. So the carbon is just the pigment that tints the remaining exposed emulsion. Thanks! |

How to choose the kind of paper for an inkjet print? +1 "First of all, you need to choose which of your photo you want to print, and it is a rather humbling experience..." this is very true. |

How can I take a macro shot without a macro lens? nikon lenses have a little metal prong you can slide and change the aperture, there are even rings to to this with some control, but you can slide it by hand and hold it in place with something (if freelensing). |
