comment Raw vs Jpeg for non-professional use
It would be great if you could add a specific example of what you could not do with the jpegs. Thanks!

Might I disagree with the space argument. I'm an extremely casual photographer, and my jpeg-only collection currently weights in at 50GB. (including a very few raws). If all that were raw too, it'd be like x4 ... 200 GB, and while that's no problem on a single disc, it does get annoying to properly backup it. (And I like to make sure that my family photos are properly backed up. :-) )

comment What quality to choose when converting to JPG?
"... keep a JPG that will be almost as big as the original RAW ..." +1 for Olin's answer that shows that even a 100% JPEG can/should be noticeable smaller that RAW.

comment Why do I see this yellow color shift at high ISOs and fast shutter speeds?
Out of curiosity, what shutter speed do you get at ISO 100k ??
