Why is my Nikon 50mm f/1.8 giving me an fEE error? Sounds like you may need to pay an additional fee to Nikon... ;) |

What are the advantages of shooting in burst (continuous) mode? One disadvantage is that you have to look at and deal with all the extra exposures. That's a non-zero cost in your time. |

Does it matter which way the camera is orientated for the sensor cleaning to work? A self-deprecating "this may be uninformed" is a lot different than calling someone uninformed. Clearly, yes, I felt you were being discourteous, and the "sorry if ..." is a classic non-apology. Anyway, I'd suggest you write an answer, since you have more technical content than belongs in comments. |

Does it matter which way the camera is orientated for the sensor cleaning to work? @Michael, it seems you object to the "random motion", which is fine, and the clarification is helpful. However, you actually speak in favor of my guess, which is that it's air motion, not gravity, moving the particles. It would be nice if your objection was both correct and courteous. |

If I swallowed my SD Card would it be readable when it emerged? Note that even if the chip still contains the information, the outside contacts will be hopelessly corroded (i.e., you will need forensic recover equipment, not a card reader) unless the card is protected from digestive fluids. |

How to predict when the moon will appear large? The apparent size is an optical illusion, as @ISO notes in the other answer. Distance to the moon is a 2nd- or 3rd-order effect. |

How to predict when the moon will appear large? @ISO's core point that the distance to the moon has very little to do with its apparent size is correct, though. |

Is Lightroom 4 quicker if I use a separate catalog per image folder? If you go with an extra drive, it might be worth your money to buy an SSD rather than a regular hard disk -- they can much faster on random access, which is what the catalog is doing much of the time. |
