Why should a digital photographer learn to shoot film? I disagree, obviously. I think that 'slowing down' is not perfectly correlated with 'shooting film.' It is possible to develop all of the skills that everyone's listed as an advantage without shooting film. It is possible that he will learn a lot of skills that will be hard to use once companies stop making film developing solutions, ie, he will be developing obsolete skills. |
