Why is there so much noise in RAW files from my new Canon 7D? @JamWheel i've clean the lenses and sensor. i've had white lines during full sunshine and after rain. I'm currently trying to reproduce it. no luck so far. but I did get these random lines on over 14 frames in 150 I took so far with this body. I'm going to have the sensor checked. |

Why is there so much noise in RAW files from my new Canon 7D? @JamWheel I doin't think I will be going to that extreme =) I will be going to the store today to show them images that have random white lines in them and to try and get a replacement body. |

Why is there so much noise in RAW files from my new Canon 7D? I currently shoot with 70-200mm f2.8 IS (version 1) , 17-55mm f2.8 is and 50mm f1.4. I agree that glass does make a difference. I will try different conditions this weekend and post some test shots. I already sold my 50D so I won't be able to compare properly. |

Is it common to have problems with soft images on a 7D? i bought my 7d 2 days ago and i'm having problems with noise under ISO 800... getting way more than I used to with my 50D! |
