I've been photographing since the late 80s, starting with 110, before moving through 35mm, APS and onto Digital. I've been a Canon EOS SLR user since 2000, and have EOS bodies for 35mm, APS (well, someone had to buy one) and digital.

I've been selling photos for a number of years, although I still have a day job as a technical architect to pay the mortgage for the moment.

(And yes, that profile picture is a sunset I've taken)

@MattGrum That's a matter of opinion (says "Mr RAW only" :)

Odd, I would've thought it would be more natural to bounce from the ceiling, as you'd normally see things lit from above (say, from a light fitting, or the sun)

Were these shot at a high ISO setting? Also, are you presenting them as they came out of the camera (and not subject to post processing to push exposure)?

Is there any ambient light? And what's your flash sync speed?

comment About AV mode in Canon DSLR
What do you want the behaviour to be when there isn't enough light to get a shot at f/2 with ISO 3200 at (say) 1/15 second? Do you want the camera to not let you fire, or adjust one of the other settings for you?

I don't believe the Mk II has this (read: I can't find it on mine)

comment Is it possible to adjust the user interface scaling in Lightroom on high-DPI display?
I'm not convinced that this is a Microsoft issue, given there has been a method to query the physical size, and DPI since at least NT4, when I was taught to always query it when studying at University...

Wow there's some really unprofessional responses from Adobe staff throwing stones at Microsoft, whilst still in their own greenhouse...
