comment How iPhone 5S can have such a big aperture? f/2.2?
@MattGrum ok, then, if the iris is bigger than 2mm in the reflex lens, a 8mm lens, which iris size should have in f4?

Ooooh i see, because the farther the sensor is from the iris, the bigger and curved lens will be needed to capture the whole field of view... right?

@JohannesD wouldn't the aperture be the same? Matt Grum was saying a 8mm lens should have 2mm iris to be f4. This could be done like in any phone but making the distance from the sensor to the iris larger, couldn't it? Why?

If the iris is in the middle of the lens, then we could have a big lens but with a 8mm front diameter. Wouldn't we?

If so, why doesn't the lens just become larger from the 2mm hole to the sensor rather than from the front to the iris?

Thanks for the answer!! But I don't get very well why with a 8mm lens we can not do like phones then. Why in reflex cameras the lens have to be that big? Because the image can not go from 2mm in f4 to the size of the sensor in such a sort space?

So, saving them as JPG (not as web) and checking the 'ICC Profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1' ? Would that include the profile used?
