What do “Frontfocus” and “Backfocus” mean? If using manual focus, would misaligned focusing screen cause front/back focusing problems? And how common is that; would something else be more probable? What “Top Tips” should I give compact camera users in a short talk? @AJ what—in my experience it works more often with compacts than with DSLRs: DSLRs may have the AF-trigger set elsewhere or a manual lens attached, both of which are rather rare among compacts. I've yet to see a (digital) compact without autofocus, but your mileage may vary. |

When to use the different modes of National PE-201C flash? Exactly the kind of practical info I sought! I had a hunch that "green" and "red" auto modes had had been somewhat common modes among other old flashes, so I am fairly confident to follow the AF280T's manual for that bit; PE-201C manuals seem to be digitally non–existent. Thanks for the link to Pentax' manual and double–thanks for the answer :-) |
