How do I start with in-camera JPEG settings in Lightroom? What version of Lightroom are you using and what camera do you have? They've released a few different versions of the profiles, but LR3 should have the latest. |

What on-camera geotagger do you recommend for a Nikon DSLR? The MetaGPS looks a lot like one I use for Civil Air Patrol photos - as long as it gets a fix before a flight, it maintains tracking through our entire flight. The trick with Nikon cameras seems to be to turn off the "sleep" on the metering system so that it doesn't have to redo the GPS lock. YMMV and all that, but that's what works for us. |

How do I start with in-camera JPEG settings in Lightroom? That should apply those parts, too. Set your camera to shoot RAW + JPEG and apply the same preset to the RAW photo as your camera did for the JPEG (like D says!). That way you can tell if they're any different. This video should help, too. |
