comment Do UV filters serve any other purpose on modern lenses other than to protect them?
A clear filter would give you the same issues. Maybe a little less degradation but I haven't measured. Even expensive filters cause too much flare under some circumstances.

comment How do I move a photo in Lightroom after it's been added but not copied?
Actually, because LR thinks those files have moved and are not new imports, the metadata will be intact, including the reject flag. That means all the rejected ones will be moved but you can now select them by the reject flag and delete all of them together. It's a little more work but not as tedious.

comment Mirrorless Camera vs mid range DSLR — how to decide?
It was just a casual mention that the asker forgot to list about the most important (IMHO) aspect of comparing mirrorless cameras to a DSLR.

comment 28mm vs. 24mm (wide angle) for selfies?
Isn't a selfie supposed to be done holding the camera yourself? I thought that was the point. Otherwise, everything you say is right.

comment Photo viewer for Windows that preloads next files in folder and allows rotating and deleting images?
@Bulwersator PMView Pro is such an excellent program that I own several licenses. If you are looking for free, then you'll get what you pay for! Considering that most camera batteries and even the neck-strap I use is more expensive than PMView Pro, it really seems a waste to search for anything else. The only free software which offers a decent experience if Geeqie which I use on Linux. Maybe they have a Windows version or you can run it in a VM.
