How do you achieve sharp bokeh circles? While I found one of my photos that looks like the one above, I have no idea why that one. I suspect the answer is complex and relates to the aperture, focal-length, sensor-size, subject distance from the camera and from each other. You may want to experiment and see what changes make your circles become sharper. |

Why is my Nikon D3200 display not changing in manual mode? As I said, that is correct. To be clear, you are using Live-View to compose instead of the viewfinder. Nikon just always shows you the same image while Canon (and Sony BTW) simulates the exposure. This is the distinction between Exposure-Priority and Display-Priority. |

Parameters to be considered while buying DSLR Here 50% of wedding photographers here use the 24-70mm F/2.8, 70-200mm F/2.8 and 85mm F/1.2. The other 50% use the Nikon-equivalent. One may manage with less but not much and I've never seen a wedding photographer with one lens. Also, the EF 100mm F/2.8 is $1000, tax in around here. |

Can't see exposure indicator in viewfinder on Nikon D7000 Did you enable the virtual horizon? In many Nikons, it takes the place of the exposure indicator. |

Use the Nikon D800 to make short YouTube videos & still shots of an owner-build or am I better getting separate video and DSLR cameras at same price? While pretty much any modern camera can do for videos, you need to choose your lenses carefully for the easy of focusing with them and you must use MF if you do any serious videos. Otherwise, I would go with a system that has Phase-Detect AF at least. Continuous AF on the D800 and similar camera is highly disturbing for video. |

What is the Canon 50d made from? Usually the chassis is made from plastic. The a higher-end camera like the 50D, there is a magnesium alloy frame underneath, so in most cases the primary material is still plastic. |

How do they come up with focal lengths for lenses? There are plenty of odd focal-length lenses. Pentax makes a 31, 43, 55 and 77 at least. There are even fractional ones, like the Tokina 16.5-135mm, Nikon 10.5, Sigma 4.5 and Samyang 7.5, so I have no idea where you get your assumptions. |
