comment How to create time-lapse video with unevenly spaced photos?
Interesting question. I'm not sure file time-stamps are sufficiently precise for this though.

Yes, what's up with DxO lately? While the useful were question, they used to be extremely consistent. Now, it seems results are all over the map. See the low-light performance for example, the Sony A7S II dropped like 20% from the A7S and is beat by the A7R II which Sony says is not as good as the A7S II for low-light!

comment At what point does a weatherproof camera become a necessity?
@ShaminderSAujla - Thank you! That is great to know. It makes me regret not keeping track of which camera has which type of EVF and LCD.

Agreed that DxO results are starting to lack consistency but this does not answer any part of the question.

comment How can I turn off auto focus when using the remote with my Nikon D7000?
It's been a while since I've had a D7000 but setting the lens to MF mode should disable AF completely, just remember to put it back to AF when done.

comment How to improve wide-angle composition in travel photography to make it more dynamic?
Everything counts but a photo can't have every element in it! Your image now looks like a it's split in 3 disjoint regions (sky, left or person, right of person). With my suggestion you will have a cross (horizon crossing person) and with a bit more careful positioning, the landscape without grass will become a more prominent line. So, yes, position is the first thing I would have given what I see in your frame.

Since you shown a specific example, I can give you an example of what I mean :) For the person with the bird, lower your position and you will see that the person will stick out over the horizon, move yourself and lens so that he fills most of the vertical space and overlaps the sky.

comment How well does the Sony A7S pixels hold up for printing?
Sorry, typo, corrected. @Ryan Larger pixels do not influence maximum print sizes, just noise and dynamic-range. They do help maintain print sizes at high ISO though.
