Technically, why is the out of focus area blurred more when using a bigger aperture? @mattdm The diagram shows only boundary rays, obviously. Do you think that a diagram where the entire cone of light is visible, is more helpful? So that it's clear that the wider is the cone, the bigger is its cross-section (out-of-focus blur). I tried to make an interactive description at arboreus.com/out-of-focus Do you think it explains the matter better? It might be more helpful, if it were an interactive diagram, probably. |

What GPS would you recommend for geo-tagging? @damnedtruths I don't know if they fixed it in the newer models. Save track feature used to be avoided up to GPSmap 60 and 76 series, because this feature removed time data from the track. Normal track writing worked well. |
