I shoot for personal pleasure. I started with photography much before I learned rules or even purchased a proper camera. I do film and digital, and though the volumes of my work vary in the media, I am still a big fan of film.

I don't sell my work as of yet, and I shoot nature almost exclusively. The theme of my work is still evolving, and has taken several turns, though I am focusing on unique "actions" as seen in nature.

Rather than the planned, prepared nature of working with other subjects, I like the chaotic, unplanned and surprise-filled opportunities that arise from working with plants and animals.

Please review my work at http://yamanoor.net, http://flickr.com/photos/yamanoor/ and http://facebook.com/voxluma (The voice of light).

Comments and criticisms are quite welcome.

I also collect used cameras and photography related memorabilia.

Actually, I don't think you know what insulting is. Do you have evidence you would like to share. I could go to about 25 or so FB groups I am on and request what you suggested and come away with lengthy, passionate stories of how they composed the images.

Funny. I never see that. It also appears quite insulting and condescending to several artists and creative people and their intent, especially when they are already crossing several internal barriers to post their work, and don't want to appear overtly lacking in humility when discussing their own work.

Have you read the entire post? It appears you have not.

I believe they were trying to get the point across. I tried putting the lens back together and could not do it. By the way, there is a LOT that goes on in the assembly: tamron-usa.com/lenses/learning_center/…
