What color calibration device works best with a Dell U2711? no worries, i think my question naturally draws the better monitor answer. I have plans to get an EIZO in the future though for now i want to work with this Dell and a better calibrator - it works and the EIZO would just be a luxury. It would cut out the part of my process where I ignore subtle green and magenta banding issues, knowing that they are artifacts and not representational of absolute values in a file. |

What color calibration device works best with a Dell U2711? I dont want to be rude though I believe i acknoledged this in my initial post "I do understand that the way EIZO and NEC's work with LUT's is something that the dell just plainly wont emulate though." fully aware of how awesome NECs and EIZOs are. I am looking for a solution that costs $200-500 rather than $1500 - 2500 |

Gray card angle during custom white balance calibration - does it matter? the color of a surface will change under variations in lighting, (color of light, angle of light). facing the card at the light give the full reflected surface facing the light, facing the lens gives you what middle grey would look like perfectly perpendicular with the lens. Try facing one at the sun and one at the lens if you are outside |

Gray card angle during custom white balance calibration - does it matter? I have worked on a couple lit sets where we would shoot the card facing the lens and one facing the lights. it helped in the processing and with an effect known as metamerism |

Does the curves tool in Photoshop (or any software) do anti-aliasing? I have just found by use that dragging the mid point slider in levels is a harsh adjustment to images. My comment isnt based on the math or algorithm behind the process. I would be curious to know if they are the same thing and what use there would be for two interfaces of the same thing. |

How would one remove yellow eyes instead of red eyes? No problem, is the goal to make that bright yellow almond a dark brown or black color? |
