As a beginner, which do I need to focus on more, camera body or lens? Yes lens' are more important. I totally regret buying two of the cheap lens' I have and now they site there collecting dust. Buy the best lens you can reasonably afford, check reviews on dpreview and especially take a look at the build quality. |

Lens options for a 18-55 and 50 1.8 plus a canon t2i owner I would recommend renting a couple of lens' that you are interested in to see if they are actually what you want/need. This is a great way to avoid buyers remorse. |
