comment Why are Micro Four Thirds lenses so expensive compared to Canon?
If 50mm is a sweet spot for Canon SLRs, what is the sweet spot for the m4/3 system?

comment Why do breathtaking views turn into “boring” photos, and how can I do better?
This answer doesn't provide any actionable suggestions. "plan your frame" is great general advice, but how would you suggest he reframe this scene to make it meet his needs? What are the steps one takes to "study and internalize" composition? General platitudes sound warm and fuzzy, but this answer is more fluff than meat...

comment How do they shoot wide television-show cast photos?
The 24 shot difference is likely intentional, in order to make him "pop" from the photo a bit. Could have been executed better, but rather than an error it was probably a conscious design choice.

comment What devices transfer photos from one flash media to another?
That's the closest one I've seen. The one I recall had an LCD screen, and you could (painfully) decide what to transfer.

That one is popular, but doesn't allow me to choose my backup media.

comment Do fluorescent lighting and shutter speed create a problem with color cast?
@seanmc - Yes, the rolling shutter, coupled with the changing light conditions results in the half and half photo. If it was important to save that one shot, I imagine a custom white balance could be applied using photoshop and masking. You are correct that the boundary region would require special attention.
