comment “Stuck” pixel appearing on every photo taken
@AKPhoto Remember that one hot pixel in the sensor affects more than one pixel in the image due to the effects of demosaicing the Bayer filter.

Could you give an example of the kind of shot you're referring to?

comment Is the Nikon 55-300mm a good choice for indoor and outdoor portraits?
But the kit lens is f/3.5 only at 18mm, which is most definitely not the focal length you want to be using for portraits.

comment Is it safe to zoom while taking a photo for the effect?
This is probably all true, but completely fails to answer the question as to whether it will damage the camera and/or the lens.

comment Which sensor “full frame” vs. APS-C (1.6 crop) gives more distortion?
No, because you've changed lens. Your 10mm lens may (almost certainly will) have significantly worse distortion characteristics than your 16mm lens.

comment Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 - How does it compare to binocular magnification?
Would it be possible for you to add the maths for how to get to those 6.1 and 6.7 numbers? That would make this a great answer which could generalise to any binoculars vs camera questions.

My instant answer is that you'd need to know how far the camera was from the lead runner, but I haven't run (pun not intended) the maths yet. Note that knowing the focal length of the lens used and the format size would be equivalent.
