How to take a portrait with dramatic bokeh circles when the subject is close to the lights? Does it depend on the light source as well ? Because the lights I used were pretty much tiny(fancy/christmas lights) |

How to take a portrait with dramatic bokeh circles when the subject is close to the lights? Yes subject was in front of light source which was 3~5 ft behind the subject, but still bokeh was not that good as without subject like the one above. |

How to scale up a photo? I just meant to say that default Picture editors shipped with all OS's do have ability to blow up image. You dont have to download any new software if you are willing to compromise on quality. Sorry if I wasnt clear. |

How to scale up a photo? If you just want to blow up you dont even need xnview or any other software. MSPaint does this out of box what you have shown here. |

As a beginner, which do I need to focus on more, camera body or lens? @HariharanAnbazhagan Have a look @ Canon 1100D, there are some good deals floating around now on eBay and you might save ~9k on it. You can then invest this in another lens when you need one. 1100D is an entry level DSLR. |

Could taking pictures of a [candle] flame damage my camera? @Roflo What about eyes when you look through view finder. Need to be careful when shooting a bright Sun as well. |

What lenses can I mount on Canon that will give me a different, exotic look for portrait photography? Have you checked out Leica lens ? Heard they are very good. |

Canon 50mm F1.8 quality Yes, agreed that its not possible to tell the condition without looking at it, but just wanted to know if a little bit of rattling was ok or not. |

Canon 50mm F1.8 quality Even I thought its the focusing mechanism as when I kep it in fully focused position it didnt rattle too much. Hope it stays longer with me. Thanks for confirming, I was kinda worried that it was broken in transit. |
