How to safely disconnect EOS camera from Mac? Adding to that, if you have connected camera to your Mac/PC you can just turn off the camera and disconnect. This will immediately stop all read/writes to the card, but just make sure you have closed all programs that have accessed your camera. |

How small can current SLRs get and still give comparable photo quality? @user763554 Have you looked at Mirror Less cameras ? It still gives you pretty much same quality of APS-C DSLR cameras, but the downside is that its not longer a SLR as the prism is removed. |

High end Bridge camera or second hand DSLR? Have a look at Canon Entry level DSLR(1100D/T3) which is priced similarly to p510. |

Should I leave the lens hood on my new 35mm f/1.8? If its not petal shaped, will it not create black spots in corners in low light situations ? |

What are your easiest beginner tips? Sometimes it happens that you will overlook some of the functionalists that your camera provides. Its better to know well in advance what a button does before realizing that it was there all the time |

How do I change the exposure setting in manual mode on a Canon EOS 550D? +1, even I was having the same confusion like the OP had. But one thing I noticed is that I can still snap pics in 3 different exposure compensation in M mode, how is that ? |

How to take a portrait with dramatic bokeh circles when the subject is close to the lights? @mattdm yes I wanted more, I wanted to try something like this but the situation was not proper and I did some mistakes as well(1. subject was far away 2. Lights were close to subject) |

How to take a portrait with dramatic bokeh circles when the subject is close to the lights? @mattdm pic in question is with subject(cropped). Answer below and the link above are what I needed. I wanted a more prominent circle. |

How to take a portrait with dramatic bokeh circles when the subject is close to the lights? Ahh that was what I was looking for. In my case there were too many lights closer which ruined the bokeh(circles) and it was closer to subject as well. |
